As you may have noticed, the wether in the valley has been… Wet. The sun is poking through, the nights are cool, the clouds abundant. Summer has forgotten itself and sent its friend, autumn.
That said, the mini photo sessions scheduled this past Tuesday are being rescheduled for another day. I am awaiting clearer weather.
In the mean time, I am on the lookout for pregnant couples, women, young siblings, and newborns for promotional photo shoots. More information to come!
A friend of mine posted a link to this on Facebook. I had a good chuckle from a few of the tips and breathed heavily out of my nose for others.
Tip: Don’t follow the above tips. The best photographs are the ones you’re not posing for. Be natural, let your laugh out, dance like no one’s watching, cry (kids: This one’s for you), and have fun.
It isn’t one. Really. I am working on a new web design that will help showcase my photography and offered services. I’m working hard to try and get it done ASAP, but it’s taking some time.
It has been a few years since I’ve designed and coded a website, so this… Well, it could take a while. Hold tight!
In the mean time, check out the new Facebook page I created for Loving Baby Ventures.
If you’re curious about the business name, Loving Baby Ventures was created in 2006 by my sister, Mom, and myself. We created a partnership together where we sold unique baby carriers, cloth diapers, and mama products. We’ve since outgrown the business as our children got older and the name was given to myself to carry on. I have changed it into a photography business.
Let’s take our time to breathe in nature and appreciate the beauty of our Eco systems here in the valley. The above picture was taken in February this year at the Little River Nature Park by the Powell River ferry.
Commemorate the upcoming summer and the close of another school year by taking your children or child to have their pictures taken in a mini session on June 25th. I am currently booking 30-minute sessions and offering three to five edited, high quality photos for only $50.
The following are session times for June 25th:

About four months of age is a great time to photograph your growing mini person. Babies this age are full of character and amazement as they discover just how big the world around them truly is.
The above picture was taken in natural lighting inside my living room when I lived in Parksville, BC.
If you are in the Comox Valley area and have a baby you would like to capture beautifully, be sure to contact me for pricing information. Starting as low as $50 for a mini session, including 3-5 edited, high quality photos.
They are letting out some of the dams in Comox and Courtenay, so places like Nymph Falls have very quick rapids flowing. Not the safest spot for kids, but a great spot to take pictures!
Portraits of newborns, maternity, children, siblings, greeting cards, pets, mini photo sessions and more.
Pictures coming soon! Keep us bookmarked and be sure to check back.
